| Circling Geese Learn to do basic paper foundation piecing to construct the circling geese blocks. Then learn to piece curves to set in the circling geese. There will be class discussion of many different settings and ideas for the blocks once they are finished. You will be able to choose 12" or 18" finished blocks. |

Floral Chain 70" X 70" without borders Make this wonderful quilt using only 5 fabrics plus black and white. Easy, strip piecing is used to make the quilt. Pattern includes instructions for an applique border. | |
| Twisted Bargello This visually exciting quilt is much easier to make that you would think. Chris Timmon's pattern is required for the class. Quarter yards of 20 fabrics are used to make the quilt. Some cutting and sewing is required before class so that students can start secondary cutting and assembling the quilt top right away. |
Circle A Round Learn Cheryl Phillips technique for cutting and setting in circles. Students will cut circles in different sizes and fabrics, then play on the design wall for placement. Cheryl's Cut-A-Round ruler makes it fun and easy to piece circles. Class requires one yard of background fabric, 1/3 yard for a border and 6 - 8 fat quarters for circles. | |
| Moonlight Leaves Using Cheryl Phillips Cut-A-Round ruler we will cut and piece circles into our background block. Then we will use fusible applique to finish the leaves on the blocks. Learn to do blanket stitch by machine to finish the edges. Finally we will do a free-form curved border to finish the quilt. |
| Mexican Stars This pattern by Annette Ornelas makes piecing and curved quilt as easy as sewing a straight line. Annette's technique for using dimensional piecing to form the curves means there are no curves to piece. A folded triangle sewn between the strips is folded back to for the curves. Fun and easy quilt to make. |
Serendipity Quilts Choose any pattern from Sara Nephew's books Serendipity or Doubledipity and Kathy will walk you though the steps to create the block. Fabric is stacked together and cut using the Clearview Triangle ruler. You can hardly wait to cut the next block to see the magic that happens when they are sewn together. These quilts are addicting and you might find one is not enough! It is a great quilt to use those wonderful large print fabrics. | |
| Honeycomb Waffle Sara Nephews pattern Honeycomb Waffle is found in her book Big Book of Building Block Quilts. The three dimensional effect is formed by using light, medium and dark prints. Sara's Clearview Triangle ruler is used to cut the 60 degree triangles used in the quilt. There are no set-in seams involved in making this quilt so it makes it easy to achieve success. |

| 4-Patch Posies in a BQ Setting I have combined the 4-Patch Posie pattern by H.D. Designs and Debbie Bowles BQ Pattern. Stack and cut squares from your focus fabric, then use the BQ pattern for a great setting. Very easy piecing in this class for a wonderful effect. |
